Terms of Service

Meridian Care Group Inc. — Victoria, British Columbia

Effective Date: June 1, 2026  ·  Governing Law: British Columbia, Canada

Meridian Care Group Inc. is a medical travel facilitation and coordination service. We are not a medical provider, healthcare professional, or clinical advisory service. Please read these terms carefully before engaging our services.

1. Who We Are

Meridian Care Group Inc. ("MCG," "we," "our") is a medical travel facilitation company incorporated under the laws of British Columbia, Canada, with its principal place of business in Victoria, British Columbia.

MCG connects Canadian clients with internationally accredited hospitals abroad and coordinates the logistical aspects of medical travel. MCG is not a hospital, clinic, medical practice, or healthcare provider of any kind.

2. Scope of Our Services

MCG provides facilitation and coordination services only. These services include:

Our role begins and ends with facilitation and coordination. The medical services themselves are provided entirely and exclusively by the hospital you engage.

3. What We Do Not Provide

MCG does not provide, and nothing in our communications should be construed as providing:

All medical decisions — including whether a procedure is appropriate for you, which treatment approach to pursue, and how your care is managed — are made solely and exclusively by the licensed medical professionals at the hospital you engage. MCG has no involvement in and no responsibility for any clinical decision.

4. Consult Your Own Physician

Before making any decision about medical travel, you are strongly encouraged to consult with your own physician or specialist in Canada. Your Canadian physician's input is an important part of determining whether medical travel is appropriate for your situation. MCG is not a substitute for that relationship and does not replace the advice of a licensed healthcare professional.

5. No Guarantee of Medical Outcomes

MCG makes no representations and provides no guarantees of any kind regarding medical outcomes, surgical results, recovery timelines, or the clinical performance of any hospital or physician. All medical procedures carry inherent risks. By engaging MCG's services, you acknowledge that MCG has no ability to guarantee, warrant, or predict any clinical outcome.

The fact that a hospital partner holds JCI accreditation or other international certification does not constitute a guarantee of outcome in any individual case. Accreditation reflects the hospital's compliance with institutional quality standards at the time of assessment.

6. Your Responsibilities as a Client

By engaging MCG's services, you agree to:

7. Third-Party Medical Services

The hospital you engage through MCG is an independent third party. Your medical services agreement is between you and the hospital directly. MCG is not a party to that agreement and has no authority over the hospital's clinical practices, staffing, pricing, or operations.

MCG is not liable for any act, omission, negligence, or misconduct by any hospital, physician, or other healthcare provider, whether or not that provider was introduced to you through MCG's services.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MCG's total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to our facilitation services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you directly to MCG for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim.

MCG is not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages of any kind, including lost income, additional medical expenses, or costs arising from delays, cancellations, or complications related to medical services provided by third parties.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under British Columbia law.

9. Travel Insurance

MCG strongly recommends — and may require as a condition of engagement — that all clients obtain comprehensive travel medical insurance and emergency medical evacuation coverage prior to departure. MCG is not an insurance provider and does not underwrite any coverage on your behalf. Arranging adequate insurance is your sole responsibility.

10. Privacy

MCG collects and uses personal and health information solely for the purpose of providing facilitation and coordination services. Your information will not be shared with third parties other than the hospital partners required to assess your case, without your consent. MCG complies with applicable British Columbia privacy legislation.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute arising from or related to these terms or MCG's services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.

12. Changes to These Terms

MCG may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The current version will always be available at meridiancaregroup.com/terms.html. Continued use of MCG's services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
